East as a cardinal point but, with great presumption, as from the Latin “here there is”. My personal interpretation of a myth among pipe blends.
Mix of two different Oriental tobaccos with Latakia refinement, a Smyrna tobacco, a Turkish / Armenian tobacco, a Crimean Virginia and something else (grant me a little secret …). as the “mythical” is meant to be a strongly latakiy but, at the same time, sweet and aromatic blend; a combination of typically Balkan sensations and contrasts; because the Sobranie was “Everything and the opposite of everything”; Both an all-day and a meditation blend.
